Illuminati Eye of Horus

The Eye of Horus is the original all-seeing eye and also synonymous with the Eye of Ra.

Ra and Horus were once separate gods who became merged as one.

It's eye was an ancient Egyptian symbol of royal power.

It was so important to Egyptians that they would even paint it on they're ships before a voyage to insure safe travels.

This is a depiction of the original eye of Horus.

Horus was the most important God of ancient Egyptian religion.

He was known as the god of War, Sky and Protection.

Egyptian religion is not the only religion associated with an all-seeing eye. Christianity and Buddhism have used this symbol at one point.

Today it's most well-known as a standard icon of Freemasonry.

Above is an early drawing of the all-seeing eye by a masonic artist.

The symbol would eventually become a staple of Freemasonry and even make it to the backside of a one dollar bill.

But it doesn't stop there.

Since then this mysterious logo has landed in music videos, movies and even video games.
